Coalbrookdale is considered as one of the birthplaces of the industrial revolution as well as a pioneer of today’s foundry industry.
TCT has the great honor of dismantling and exporting several used foundry equipment for a customer in India in a former foundry in Ironbridge, near Coalbrookdale.
Specifically, it involves disassembling a DISA 230 molding line, a complete sand preparation unit and two CIME Autopour pouring furnaces as well as packing and stuffing the parts into containers.
Currently, preparations are made for loading the first containers.
The disassembly started at the end of February and is expected to last until the end of April.
